Window on the World has the tallest water flume ride in Asia. It is 12 stories high, and it is very exciting and scary. In addition, there are many different rides in the amusement park such as "Thunder Rain", "Nile beach", Taiwan's first 360 degree spinning "Rocking Boat, cute "Strawberry Ferry Wheel", "Flying Planes", "Jumping Stars", etc. European Castle Amusement Park is a kids' favorite. No matter rain or shine, kids can enjoy themselves there. It has more than 20 rides such as kids' favorite "Merry-Go-Around", Taiwan's only indoor roller coaster, crazy Window on the World UFOs, Bumper Cars, and so on. There are many varied and interesting rides in the park.

Interesting place with a theme park.

    Traveler rating:3 2019-10

Initially I thought this place is only show case mini places of interest, then I realized there was a theme park inside, after taking the train! Just as many commented, this place is a bit old (Europe area) and indoor playground was a little overcrowded and dim. America area? Has a playground with barricades and hence we can let the young children play and round without following them. Choices of food is limited as well.

Discounts racially discriminate against foreign residentd

    Traveler rating:2 2018-06

Long weekend was discounted for Taoyuan residents. Upon arriving I was told foreign residents (ARC) were not eligible even though I have been living in Taoyuan for many years and my address on my ARC card + household registration document shows that. My wife (Taiwanese) argued with the staff for some time before they finally allowed the discounted rate. We met several other foreign residents in the same situation. I don't think it is fair to discriminate like this, we live in the local area (which was the advertised requirement), work and pay taxes like anyone else. Why should our nationality matter?

    We all loved this place!

    Traveler rating:5 2018-03

We didnt know what to expect since we had bever heard of this place but we fell in love with it immediately! The miniature models of important places in Taiwan and other places in the world were amazing. They are divided into continents and are high quality, well maintained miniature models. Plenty of photo opportunities for everyone. There were also plenty of games, rides, and things to do/see for little kids of different ages. Our daughter enjoyed the slides and rides the most. I wish we had more time but the park close relatively early. I definitely recommend this as a must see destination, although it is a little far from the Taipei City center.

No need to specially make a trip

    Traveler rating:3 2018-03

The park looks old like an amusement park in the 80s. The rides in the amusement park section are just ok. The frequency of the bus from Taipei is so very low. No need to spend a day just to get there.

I believed this place needed some updates badly after all these years. No doubt, still quite an interesting sight to see "the world" in a smaller version.
