The “Zhuwei Fishing Harbor“ near the airport has a fish market and a 360-degree revolving restaurant. The nearby “Pig Nose Beach“ is suitable for stepping on the waves and watching the sunset.
Yong'an Fishing Harbor is the only Hakka fishing port in Taiwan and also has a tourism fish market. The YongAn Conch Cultural Experience Park near the harbor showcases the Hakka culture of the sea and the beauty of its architecture is also eye-catching.
In the past, residents also used methods such as Taiwanese beach seine and stone tidal weir fishing to catch fish. Taiwanese beach seine requires the whole village to work together to collect the nets and the catch is shared by everyone, reflecting the spirit of unity of the Hakka people. There are also 11 restored century-old stone weirs on the Xinwu coast, which can keep fish in the weirs for easy harvesting. Cycling Tour

The coastal area of Taoyuan is also very suitable for cycling. The "Nankan Creek Riverbank Bike Trail" will connect various districts along the stream with general roads to reach Zhuwei Fishing Harbor and the coastline. The "Nankan Riverside Parks" is a park system that includes multiple riverside green spaces.
“Farm pond“ and “lotus“ are Taoyuan's two major scenic features. The “Guanyin Cycle Path“ has two major routes: the “Northern Cycle Ring Farm Pond Tour“ and the “Southern Cycle Ring Lotus Tour“ allowing visitors to enjoy two representative scenic spots in Taoyuan at once.
The Xinwu Green Tunnel has a bike path about 4 kilometers long shuttling between windbreaks and the coast. The entire road is paved with asphalt and has a gentle slope allowing you to ride comfortably under the shade of trees.
The Museum Pacific Cycles in Xinwu showcases contemporary bicycles and offers a half-day cycling experience along the coastline.

Even though Taoyuan is an industrial production base in northern Taiwan, it still retains numerous ecological resources along the coastline.
The ”Guanxin Algal Reefs Ecosystem Wildlife Refuge” is Taiwan's largest algae reef terrain distribution area. The ”Xucuogang Wetland” is nationally important. It serves as a rest stop for migratory birds migrating southward on a large scale from October to May of the following year and is a great place for bird watching.
The "Guanyin Caota Sand Dunes" has over 8 kilometers of coastal dunes and the desolate and lonely feeling often attracts filming for movies and TV shows. It is known as the "Taiwanese version of the Sahara."
There is also a "Yangchou Forest Trail" hidden behind residential areas in Nankan, which has a rich flora and fauna ecology. Climbing to the top of Yangchoushan, which is 225 meters high, you can simultaneously enjoy the city view, high speed rail, planes taking off and landing, and coastal scenery.
